Effective date: 9 July 2026
This privacy policy describes how personal data is processed when you use the queenhomeoffice.hu website (the “Website”), in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and applicable Hungarian law.
1. Data controller
The data controller is the operator of the Website: Queen Home & Office.
- Address: Népfürdő utca 22. (Duna Tower), 1138 Budapest, Hungary
- E-mail: queenhome.dunatower@gmail.com
- Phone: +36 70 553 5560
2. What data we process
The Website is informational, contains no forms and does not directly collect personal data. If you contact us by phone or e-mail, the data you voluntarily provide (name, contact details, content of your message) is used solely to respond to your enquiry.
With your consent, the Website collects visitor statistics via Google Analytics (such as pages viewed, visit duration, approximate location, device and browser type). This data serves statistical purposes and cannot directly identify you.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
The Website uses the following cookies and local storage entries:
- NEXT_LOCALE (cookie, strictly necessary) — stores your language preference; no consent is required.
- cookie-consent (localStorage) — records your cookie decision so you are not asked again.
- _ga, _ga_* (cookies, Google Analytics) — visitor statistics; set only after your consent, valid for up to 2 years.
4. Consent management (Consent Mode)
The Website uses Google Consent Mode v2: by default all measurement and advertising storage is disabled and is only activated if you click “Accept” on the cookie banner. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing your browser's cookies and local storage — the banner will then appear again.
5. Purposes and legal bases of processing
- Visitor statistics (Google Analytics): based on your consent — Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
- Cookies necessary for the operation of the Website (language preference): based on the controller's legitimate interest — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Responding to your enquiries: based on your consent or steps prior to entering into a contract — Article 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR.
6. Data processors and transfers
Visitor statistics are processed by Google Ireland Ltd. (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) and Google LLC (USA) as data processors. Transfers to the United States take place under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
The Website is served by a hosting provider, which may briefly retain technical logs (such as IP addresses) required for operation.
7. Data retention
- Google Analytics measurement data: up to 14 months.
- Preferences stored in cookies or local storage: until deleted or expired.
- Data provided when contacting us: until your enquiry is closed or you withdraw consent.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you,
- rectification (correction of inaccurate data),
- erasure (the “right to be forgotten”),
- restriction of processing,
- data portability,
- object to processing,
- withdraw your consent at any time — this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
9. Remedies
If you believe that the processing of your data violates your rights, you may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH) — address: Falk Miksa utca 9–11., 1055 Budapest, Hungary; postal address: 1363 Budapest, Pf. 9.; e-mail: ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu; web: www.naih.hu — or bring the matter before a court.
10. Changes to this policy
The data controller reserves the right to amend this policy. The current version is always available on this page.
